Welcome to ecoRidge Hideaway Chalets

Stay in style in the Australian Bush and leave behind a light carbon footprint

Choose from three self-contained and well-equipped chalets built to be eco-friendly and run to encourage sustainable practices,  all of them still providing a comfortable place to rest and relax.

In rural setting yet so close to amenities

ecoRidge Hideaway is located only a 15 minute drive from the Garden City of Toowoomba and 90 minutes West of Brisbane. The chalets are surrounded by natural bushland and all the wildlife that inhabits it. To get some exercise and explore the property further, a 3km Nature trail is maintained open.

Enjoy spectacular views

Perched on a ridge of the Great Dividing Range at 620m in altitude, all three chalets are set to take the mountain and valley views in.

And a front seat to amazing sunrises

The chalets open the North-East, from where you can  let the sun greet you every morning in a beautifully sky lit show.

The add-ons

April 2024,

Dear Visitors,

Welcome the season of Autumn at ecoRidge Hideaway.

- As the season settles in, the weather will get cooler, making it the ideal time for some hiking. Warm up on our 3km nature trail and further explore other walking trails in the area and neighbouring National Parks.

- Slow down and take the invitation to relaxation the natural surroundings offer.

- Explore the garden city of Toowoomba, the local markets, the expensive and quality street art, the regional art galleries, the museums. Recharge yourself at the many cafes and restaurants. Book a show at the Empire Theatre...

- Check our rates on three nights or longer for best deals. We have a minimum of 2 nights on bookings, however we cater for one nighters occasionally through the week - when you contact us.

- This year, we have changed the way we provide firewood in the cooler weather. Each chalet is now equipped with a reverse cycle air conditioning system as well as a slow combustion fireplace. Firewood is no longer included in the standard rates. It comes as an add-on that can be ordered when you make your booking or purchased at the office during your stay.

- We are here to assist you if you need help with your booking. Don't hesitate to give us a call or send us an email!

We hope to see you soon,

Kind regards,

Greg and Sylvie
